About Me

Who am I?

Hi I'm Neil!
I have over 25 years experience as a mechanic in the east Herts and west Essex area.
I started as an apprentice back in August 1988 at John Whalley's on Station Road in Bishops Stortford and worked with John and the team until John closed his garage in 2012.
It was at Whalleys that I learnt and progressed into a fully qualified mechanic. Studying at Harlow regional collage. Completing my City and guilds in motor vehicle Studies as well as my BTEC national certification engineering and motor-vehicle studies.
Over the years I have completed a variety of courses on Lancia, Fiat and Alfa Romeo and have specialised in this field for many years.
In 2000, I feathered my bow and became a MOT tester as well.
I particularly enjoy the challenges of motor vehicles electronics and total rebuilds of engines and gear boxes. I have underataken many Integrale Restorations and have become skilled in the fabrication of panels.

In my personal life, I enjoy spending time with my family. A lot of my spare time is taken up coaching ladies and girls rugby in Harlow and of course playing rugby myself.
